the chicken and the egg

for halloween carson was a chicken and i was an egg - backwards i know. the chicken came first - but i do things a little backwards sometimes. we went to the trunk or treat at the church. carson didn't exactly get the concept but he was very good at putting his hand out and asking for candy - but kept doing it to the same people. he ran around a lot - looked like a crazy fat chicken running around but with a head. he loved getting the candy, was a little spooked by some of the car decorations and some costumes but over all it was a lot of fun. even though he loves candy he is content most of the time to just carry it around and not eat all of it. i didn't keep much of the candy around meaning i gave it away to the trick or treaters on saturday - i am a lame mom i know.
